Each year, DuoCon got its own complete sonic world — a distinct design, concept, and score running through every piece of the event, from the opening titles to the walk-ons, teasers, and intermission.
2023 - 2025
A story about Duo
2023 was the year the opener turned into a full narrative — a story starring Duo himself. Its musical world spread across the whole event, with the walk-ons, teasers, intermissions, transitions all built from the same material. It worked so well the event reused it as the template for the years after in 2024 and 2025.

Music from found sound
A found-sound intro performed by the lovely Duolingo character cast. Built and played on screen by Junior’s MPC and builds as every character's actions add a layer, ending in a full band of the whole Duolingo cast. The whole event's sound followed that same handmade beat.
